The Painter Sisters brings together a premier set of artists and craftsmen that can design and execute unique and exciting paint finishes for your home.


Chris Dilts has a degree in Fine Arts from the City College of New York with an emphasis in the mediums of watercolors, oils and acrylics. Upon graduation, Chris received an award from the Royal Academy of Arts in London for excellence in painting and had the honor of exhibiting several pieces at local galleries. Chris continued her studies and gained extensive studio time at the Parsons New School of Design and the Pratt Institute, both in New York City. Her extensive knowledge of color and design led to an interest in faux finishing fourteen years ago and Painter Sisters was born.  Chris continues to broaden her product knowledge and stay on top of the latest trends through classes offered by some of the premier faux finishing studios in the country.  Her skills and professionalism define the experience you will have with the Painter Sisters.


Kathy Oberle established her reputation as a wall finish professional in the late 1980’s.  She went on to create Infiniti Wall Treatments in 1993 to advance her chosen career as color consultant, wall covering specialist and faux finish artist.  While building a solid and loyal clientele, Kathy completed a variety of classes and training, including the Aqua Color Faux Finishing seminar at The Definitive School of Decorative Art in Houston, TX.  In 2000, she merged talents with Chris Dilts and currently shares in Painter Sisters’ successful status as the Denver area’s premier faux finish company.  Kathy’s signature trademark is a high level of attention to detail along with personalized customer service.


Jana Gregorova completed her studies of Art and Craft at the University of Palacky in Czech Republic in 1997.  At this time she also completed her training in restoration and gilding with a master craftsmen who was trained in Vienna. Her high school degree in construction led her to start her own business in which she was able to use all her skills and knowledge including interior design, remodeling, fix uppers and restoration, custom furniture design, murals, anything home related. She moved to USA 2003 and was working for restoration studio in San Francisco . In 2004 she moved to Denver and began her collaboration with the Painter Sisters.  This collaboration   widened her skills to include faux finishing and stenciling.   Jana brings a European flavor to the team that adds a complimentary perspective to the team, helping to create unique results.


Lauren Allison graduated from Monmouth College majoring in studio arts and design with a  minor in art history.  Twenty years ago, in Chicago, she started a wall stenciling business with an emphasis on historical restoration.  Later, Lauren added wall faux finishing and contributed to many charity showcase homes.  She moved to Denver in 1992 and worked in the Home Builders Association Parade of Homes from 1993 - 2006.  Lauren began her collaboration with the Painter Sisters in 2000.  Additionally, Lauren is a published author.  Take a look at Lauren’s book on Amazon.


Todd Jordan, the painter brother, is a professional painter with experience in Texas, Arizona and Colorado.  Todd provides the skills needed for large scale painting and prepping.  He handles the scaffolding needed for those two and three story ceilings and has extensive experience with many faux finishing techniques.  Todd can spray a finish on our Cabinet Transformations that rivals factory applied finishes!


Carol Schauer has a bachelor's degree in Interior Design.  She worked in the hospitality and corporate design field for seven years in Rhode Island and St. Louis, MO after which she used her experience to create visual displays for two Colorado companies.  She started in the faux business in 1999, working throughout the Denver Metro area and occasionally updating her knowledge of current trends by attending various training classes held by national faux finish studios.
